For over 17 years, I’ve believed that hair is never just hair. It’s identity, confidence, self expression, and sometimes the beginning of an entirely new chapter.
I’m Kylie, founder of Kyannehair. My approach blends precision with creativity, creating lived in colour, textured cuts, and transformations that feel authentic to the person wearing them. My goal has never been to chase trends. It’s to help people leave feeling more like themselves.


After years in the industry, I’ve built Kyannehair as a calm, welcoming space where artistry, genuine connection, and exceptional service come together. Every appointment is intentionally unhurried, with time to listen, collaborate, and create a result that complements your lifestyle as much as your aesthetic.

Outside the studio, you’ll often find me immersed in somatic practices, creating art, or curled up with my cats. I believe creativity and healing are deeply connected, and I’m endlessly inspired by spaces that invite people to slow down, reconnect with themselves, and express who they truly are.

Alongside Kyannehair, I’m also building my passion project, Chrome Moon Temple, a space dedicated to inner transformation through somatic work, mindfulness, creativity, and personal growth. While Kyannehair focuses on outward transformation, Chrome Moon Temple is an extension of my belief that true confidence is created when our inner and outer worlds are in harmony.

Whether through hair, art, or inner work, my purpose is to create experiences that leave people feeling seen, empowered, and more connected to themselves.

When I’m not behind the chair, I’m mentoring the next generation of hairdressers, continuing my education, and exploring the connection between creativity, wellbeing, and personal transformation.

Emerging Stylist

My name is Yvette, though most people know me as Evie here at Kyannehair. I’m an emerging stylist working alongside Kylie, where every day is an opportunity to learn, grow and bring fresh creativity to the salon floor. I love being part of a space that celebrates individuality, artistry and helping people feel like the very best version of themselves.

Outside the salon you’ll usually find me cooking for the people I love or spending time with my dog, Marmalade. My go-to drink is an Earl Grey tea with oat milk, and if I’m choosing dinner, it’s almost always a spicy bowl of laksa or Bun Bo Huế.

One thing you’ll quickly learn about me is my love for monkeys! I collect monkey memorabilia and have a particular soft spot for gibbons. Their playful personalities and expressive nature never fail to make me smile.

My favourite hair hack is using styling paste to create texture and define the hairline, giving the ends a perfectly undone, spiky finish. It’s such a simple way to add personality and movement to any haircut.

Creatively, I’m inspired by the natural world. I love animal-inspired cuts, colours and textures, and I especially enjoy hand-painting custom patterned extensions that allow clients to wear something completely unique. Watching an idea come to life and creating wearable art is one of my favourite parts of hairdressing.

As I continue to grow my skills, I’m developing a passion for creative colour, textured cutting and alternative styles. I love working on projects that allow clients to express themselves and feel confident in who they are. Every appointment is a chance to create something personal, whether it’s a subtle refresh or a bold transformation.

In five years, I see myself continuing to evolve as an artist, creating meaningful work, refining my craft and building lasting relationships with the people who trust me with their hair. My goal is to keep learning, stay inspired and contribute to making Kyannehair a welcoming, creative space where everyone feels seen and celebrated.
